Book Your Tour and Meet the People Behind History

Real stories, real artifacts, and a visit that makes history come alive.

Every artifact here belongs to a real person who served. Walking through the museum with your group turns textbook dates into names, faces, and stories you won’t forget on the drive home.

We welcome groups of up to 40 for guided tours, and we’re happy to add a short program shaped around what your group cares about most.

What you will see

Our galleries follow American service from World War I through World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf Wars, and Afghanistan, with a dedicated Sea Service exhibit and a rotating special exhibit. Uniforms, letters, equipment, and personal keepsakes, many donated by veterans and their families, bring each era into focus.

A program customized for you

Want to go deeper? Our Curators and Pathfinders can put together a 15 to 30 minute talk tailored to your interests. A scout troop might focus on leadership and duty. A book club might explore the letters and memoirs behind a particular war. A school group might connect the exhibits to what they’re studying right now. Tell us what you’re hoping for and we’ll build around it.
